RULES FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE ONLINE DANCE COMPETITION

  1. The competition is organised with an aim and object of promoting Indian Classical Dances. Discover new talents and to encourage budding artists by presenting them to the Indian Classical Dance World.
  2. Please provide Date of Birth and ID proof in your email.
  3. We are accepting applications for Bharatanatyam , Odissi, Kuchipudi and Semi classical dances in this Competition.
  4. We are accepting applications worldwide.
  5. One participant can apply for different forms but will have to fill separate entry forms for each item.
  6. Note – Registration fees of the competition are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  7. Note – ONLY SOLO FORM IN EACH CATEGORY.
  8. Please Note – Dances on Bollywood songs/ Sufi songs/ Ghazals / Thumri/ Bhajans /Fusion with any classical dances will be consider in semi classical category.
  9. If you apply for classical dance forms, performance on traditional compositions is MUST.
  10. Due to lockdown, backdrop in the video will be barely considered but video and audio has to be of a good quality.
  11. Kindly upload your video on youtube and send youtube video link OR send your video through Wetransfer on nrutyapadma@gmail.com. Only 1 dance video is permitted for this competition. Any video sent through whatsapp will not be accepted.
  12. All competitors should present themselves with proper costume pertaining to their items being performed.
  13. The judgement will be purely based on performance. All participants will be graded according to their performance.
  14. The decision of the Judges and management of NRUTYA PADMA –PUNE shall be unquestionably final & binding upon all competitors in all respects.
  15. All contestants will be given participation certification and top 3 winners in each category will get exciting cash prizes.

  17. Last date to submit your application form along with dance video and photocopy of fee confirmation is 10th December 2020.
  18. Result will be declared through the recorded video which will be published on our facebook page. like and follow our facebook page 'Nrutyapadma' for further updates.
